Mattoon Knights of Columbus Council 1057
Vivat Jesus!

Welcome to our web page. We have been serving the Mattoon community for over 100 years. Our community outreach programs and youth initiatives are designed to help those in need. The cornerstones of our organization are Charity, Unity, Fraternity & Patriotism.  The Knights of Columbus were founded in 1882 as a means of providing support to widows and orphans of Catholic men.  In order to be a Knight, you must be a male at least 18 years of age and in good standing with the Holy See.  There are over one million members world wide and the Knights are the largest Catholic men's fraternal organization.  We hope you enjoy our website and if you are not already a member and would like to join our council, please contact us.  Please look through these pages and pictures to get a more complete view of what we do and see the fun we have at our events.
